2025 ANNUAL SUMMIT

The Marquette Method Annual Research Summit was held in Orlando, Florida in November of 2025. I was honored to be able to attend my second summit. And this time, my baby came with me! She was only 3 months old so she was the perfect age to get on a plane and come hang out at the Summit. We flew down there at the peak of the government shut down and had a really tough time traveling there and back…but that’s a story for another day.

The absolute highlight of my trip was introducing my baby to the founder of the Marquette Method, Dr. Fehring. Nothing beats that.

However, there were some great talks too. Dr. Kafie gave advice on how to be a better NFP instructor. Dr. Meyers provided a great case study on hormone replacement therapy (HRT). More and more physicians are becoming more open to appropriate HRT during perimenopause, which is good because it can relieve symptoms and make NFP slightly easier. Dr. Bouchard gave us an update on the research for the Mira monitor. It’s still moving slowly, but it IS moving. We had ethical discussions, a variety of case studies, and presentations on topics such as PCOS and NFP effectivenesss research.

My favorite talk though was the final talk given by Dr. Fehring. (Are you sensing a theme here?) He gave a rundown of the history of the Marquette Method. It’s development, the changes throughout the years, the people who helped, the progress, all of it. It was so good to hear the story of this method - the method that I am so thankful for in my marriage.

It was such a good and refreshing summit, and I’m already looking forward to 2026.
