I am excited to announce that Rooted in Truth NFP is now offering Marquette Method instruction through the My Catholic Doctor platform.
This partnership makes it easier for women and couples to receive personalized Marquette Method instruction within a Catholic, faith-filled healthcare setting—and, depending on your insurance plan, your visits may be covered by insurance.
Could Your NFP Visits Be Covered?
Many insurance plans offer coverage for natural family planning education. Through My Catholic Doctor, eligible patients may be able to receive unlimited NFP visits with no out-of-pocket cost.
Although the Affordable Care Act requires insurance companies to cover NFP, it is still a work in progress. Coverage varies by insurance company and individual plan, so benefits cannot be guaranteed until they are verified. Many insurance companies incorrectly apply deductibles and copays to NFP instruction. My Catholic Doctor can help determine whether your plan covers these visits and explain any costs before you begin.

What Is Included?
As a patient, you can receive ongoing, individualized Marquette Method support, including:
Initial instruction in using the Marquette Method
Help interpreting your fertility signs and hormone-monitor results
Follow-up visits as you learn the method
Support when avoiding or trying to achieve pregnancy
Guidance during cycle transitions, including postpartum, breastfeeding, irregular cycles, and perimenopause
Answers to questions as they arise over email or follow-ups
Having access to continued follow-up matters. NFP is can support you through many different seasons of reproductive life. Insurance coverage may allow eligible patients to schedule the help they need without worrying about paying for every individual visit.
